Kristen Malcolm
Kristen is a positive, welcoming, and empathetic individual who loves helping people be the best versions of themselves. Whether it be just needing someone to talk to or wanting to talk through some hard emotions, she loves connecting and helping others to recognize the strengths that they already have and take advantage of them. With over eight years of experience in the people-helping profession, she creates a safe and non-judgemental place for people of all ages to share their story. Life is not always easy and some pretty significant challenges can happen, therefore, it’s important to make space for the emotions that we carry, the relational struggles that we walk through, and any other issues that we face with another trusted individual who cares. Shalini Subramanian
My name is Shalini Subramanian, and I am one of the therapists at Evergreen Counselling Collective. I am a Social Work Honours graduate from York University and hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor. I am deeply passionate about counselling, and much of my work is grounded in Narrative Therapy, anti-oppressive practice, and the principles of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I strive to create a safe, collaborative, and empowering space where clients feel heard and supported. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages. I have extensive experience within the school board supporting youth with complex needs, as well as providing counselling to adults and families navigating a wide range of challenges.
